{"id":667,"date":"2026-08-18T13:46:39","date_gmt":"2026-08-18T13:46:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/waste2crm.itpe.pl\/?p=667"},"modified":"2026-08-18T13:47:37","modified_gmt":"2026-08-18T13:47:37","slug":"beneficiation-tests-under-wp3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/waste2crm.itpe.pl\/index.php\/2026\/08\/18\/beneficiation-tests-under-wp3\/","title":{"rendered":"Beneficiation tests under WP3"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of the Waste2CRM project, we are imlementing important stage of technological research carried out within WP3: Evaluation of physical methods for obtaining initial concentrates of selected critical raw materials.<br><br>Under the leadership of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/%C5%82ukasiewicz-%E2%80%93-instytut-metali-nie%C5%BCelaznych-722b902b7\/\">\u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 Instytut Metali Nie\u017celaznych<\/a> , beneficiation tests of coal mining waste are being carried out using physical and physicochemical methods. The aim of these studies is to verify whether waste materials from coal mining can be used to obtain fractions enriched in selected critical raw materials, in particular rare earth elements &#8211; REEs.<br><br>This is one of the key steps in assessing whether mining waste can become a real alternative source of critical raw materials for the European economy.
