{"id":571,"date":"2025-07-08T07:31:23","date_gmt":"2025-07-08T07:31:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/waste2crm.itpe.pl\/?p=571"},"modified":"2025-07-08T07:41:16","modified_gmt":"2025-07-08T07:41:16","slug":"first-technical-progress-meeting-of-waste2crm-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/waste2crm.itpe.pl\/index.php\/2025\/07\/08\/first-technical-progress-meeting-of-waste2crm-project\/","title":{"rendered":"First technical progress meeting of Waste2CRM project!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>On July 2\u20133, 2025, the project meeting for &#8220;Determination of the potential for acquiring critical raw materials from mining wastes, and development of the method for their effective recovery&#8221; Waste2CRM &#8211; co-funded by the Research Fund for Coal and Steel &#8211; took place at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/g%C5%82%C3%B3wny-instytut-g%C3%B3rnictwa\/\">G\u0142\u00f3wny Instytut G\u00f3rnictwa &#8211; Pa\u0144stwowy Instytut Badawczy<\/a><br>All project partners were present:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/g%C5%82%C3%B3wny-instytut-g%C3%B3rnictwa\/\">G\u0142\u00f3wny Instytut G\u00f3rnictwa &#8211; Pa\u0144stwowy Instytut Badawczy<\/a> (host), <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/itpezabrze\/\">Instytut Technologii Paliw i Energii<\/a> (ITPE), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/%C5%82ukasiewicz-%E2%80%93-instytut-metali-nie%C5%BCelaznych-722b902b7\/\"><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/ACoAAEwr0QoBTv6U-JKs1KKbJ1d7bA6tkInbzuA\">\u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 Instytut Metali Nie\u017celaznych<\/a> (IMN), <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/systra-subterra\/\">SYSTRA Subterra<\/a> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/ACoAADcomRsBvdEMVIhfeVx6LSkCPUAPM7_4foQ\">UPatras SEG<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The meeting focused on reviewing the current progress of the project, presenting key conclusions from the implementation of Work Package 2 (WP2), and planning and coordinating the next stages of work.<br>A highlight of the meeting was a technical field trip to JSW KWK Budryk, the deepest active hard coal mine in Europe. Participants had the opportunity to observe the various stages of coking coal extraction and witness the challenging working conditions underground, including seeing a shearer in operation at the coal face.<br>For many attendees, it was their first-ever descent underground &#8211; and straight to a depth of 1290 meters!
