As part of the European Waste2CRM project, funded under the RFCS<\/a> program by the European Commission<\/a>, members of the SYSTRA Subterra<\/a> R&D team \u2014 Amanda Gomez Marfil<\/a> and Beatriz Garc\u00eda Bernab\u00e9u \u2014 visited the facilities of Fundaci\u00f3n Santa B\u00e1rbara.
During the visit, they collected samples from two coal waste dumps located in Laciana and El Bierzo (Le\u00f3n, Spain).
The Waste2CRM project focuses on valorizing coal waste by exploring its potential to contain critical raw materials and developing effective recovery methods.
Through applied engineering, we are advancing sustainability, circular economy principles, and the green transition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
